Alex is a Chartered Financial Planner, who has been part of the private client team since early 2020. Prior to joining Melville Independent, he worked in a support role for an IFA in Edinburgh.
Alex provides financial planning solutions to private individuals to help them meet their financial goals, covering areas including Pension and Retirement Planning, Tax Efficient Investments, Financial Protection, and Inheritance Tax Planning. He holds the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning (APFS) with the Chartered Insurance Institute.
Born in Northumberland, Alex moved to Scotland in 2010 where he graduated from Aberdeen University with a degree in Finance before moving to Edinburgh.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys spending time on the golf course and watching live music. He is a regular in the company’s touch rugby team, the ‘Melville Monsters’, who have experienced mixed success in recent seasons!
