Alan Mainwood is the Director (Finance & Operations) at Melville Independent plc and has worked with the company since 2011, overseeing the financial aspects of the company’s operations.

Having previously been employed in sports administration, he has worked in financial services for over 25 years.  Alan qualified as a Certified Chartered Accountant with the ACCA in 2015 and is a Fellow Member.

Originally from the Highlands of Scotland, Alan moved to Edinburgh to attend college and has continued to live in the Edinburgh area since then, now residing in West Lothian.

Alan enjoys watching sport, including the Scotland football team, as well as music and eating out.
