Jack has worked at Melville Independent since May 2019 and completed his Diploma in Financial Advice in 2020. Subsequently, he has completed advanced exams in Pension Transfers and Managing Investments.
Jack’s main role at Melville Independent Plc is to lead the Corporate Team working with company directors to build bespoke employee benefit packages to help companies attract and retain staff. Jack also provides financial planning advice to individuals to help them meet their financial goals.
Jack graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a 2:1 in Economics and Accounting. He began his career as Teacher of Economics at Merchiston Castle School, where he obtained his PGCE and was promoted to Head of Economics.
Outside of work, Jack played rugby for Watsonians and represented Scotland at Rugby Sevens. He now enjoys running the Melville Monsters touch rugby team as well as playing football and is working hard to lower his golf handicap.
